Strætó has received the recognition of Jafnvægisvogin 2024. Jafnvægisvogin is a project carried out by FKA (Association of Businesswomen in Iceland). Jafnvægisvogin is intended to increase the gender balance in the top management of companies in Icelandic business. The goal is that by 2027, the gender ratio in executive boards of companies in Iceland will be at least 40/60.
„Equality is a choice, and we can be proud to belong to a company that demonstrates through action that equality is important,“ says Sigurborg Þórarinsdóttir, director of HR and quality management at Strætó, who accepted the award on behalf of Strætó.
