Red warning: All morning service canceled on 7th February

According to the current weather forecast it can be expected that Strætó buses in the capital area will be able to start driving again at the around 10:00.

All service decisions will be based on the weather and road conditions. We encourage our customers to follow announcements on Strætó’s website and on Strætó’s Twitter account.

Message from the Civil Protection Committee

The Civil Protection Committee of the capital area points out that when the weather clears, it is expected that all streets will be covered in heavy snow and it will take a considerable amount of time to clear all the streets in the district. The committee encourages people who plan to travel within the capital area to take advantage of public transport so that traffic conditions do not become too heavy and delay the movement of snowplows.

All trips of the Pant shuttle service will be canceled before noon tomorrow, February 7th. The service is expected to be back up and running at 12:00.

All scheduled „home trips“ associated with canceled morning trips will also be automatically canceled unless customers specifically request that they be driven.
