Due to pavement maintenance, Reykjanesbraut will be closed from Grindavíkurvegur towards Reykjavík from 20:00 on Wednesday 16th of November until 20:00 on Thursday 17th of November.
Reykjanesbraut will be open for traffic from Reykjavík to KEF international airport throughout the construction period.
The bus route from Hafnarfjörður/Reykjavík to Keflavík will remain unchanged, but delays can be expected on the route as the driving speed has been reduced to 50 km in the work area and traffic can be expected to be heavy.
The bus route from Keflavík to Hafnarfjörður/Reykjavík will take a detour via Grindavíkurvegur (43), Suðurstrandarvegur (427) and Krýsuvíkurvegur (42) and the travel time can be expected to be longer, by up to 50 minutes.
