On Saturday, September 7, additional buses will drive on route 55 on Ljósanótt ( Night of Lights). Note that to Reykjanesbær these are additional buses following the standard timetable but on the way from Reykjanesbær after the festival ends, extra trips will be available outside the standard timetable.
To Reykjanesbær
Two additional buses leave from Fjörður in Hafnarfjörður at the same time as scheduled buses, one of them leaves at 17:53 and the other at 19:53 and both ends at Hringbraut/Melteigur in Keflavík. These buses stop at the following stops: Fjörður – Sveitarfélagið Vogar – Hringbraut/Melteigur.
From Reykjanesbær
When the festival ends, there will be three extra trips from Hringbraut/Melteigur in Keflavík outside the standard timetable, one at 22:45 and two at 23:15 and the buses ends at BSÍ. These buses stop at the following stops: Hringbraut/Melteigur – Sveitarfélagið Vogar – Fjörður – Ásgarður – Kringlumyrarbraut – Hlíðar – Klambratún – BSÍ.
NOTE:
- The additional buses will have a sign: Additional buses (Aukavagnar)
- The extra buses do not drive between Hringbraut/Melteigur and Keflavík Airport and vice versa. They will not stop at Vogaafleggjari of Grindavíkurafleggjari or drive through Keflavík.
- However the extra buses will drive to Vogar and stop at the bus stop Sveitarfélagið Vogar, like route 87, see estimated timetable:

The standard price for the countryside applies and the fare can be paid on board the bus by payment card or cash. Please note that you can not use Klappið on buses in the countryside.
