Downtown Reykjavík

Downtown Reykjavík from 10:30 – 13:30

<li>Route 1 – Instead of driving Lækjargata and Suðurgata, detour through Sæbraut, Snorrabraut and Hringbraut to and from HÍ and Skúlagata.</li>
<li>Route 3 – Instead of driving Geirsgata, Lækjargata og Suðurgata, detour through Ánanaust and Hringbraut.</li>
<li>Route 6 – Instead of driving Snorrabraut, Hverfisgata, Lækjargata and Suðurgata, detour through Hringbraut to and from HÍ.</li>

Strætó schedule on the First day of Summer 2025

New timetable for route 94 will take effect on Thursday 3 April. This is due to a new flight plan to Höfn since a new operator has taken over the flight. The timetable is valid in April, but there is no flight plan for May yet, the timetable will be updated as soon as the flight plan is available.

The bus stop at Skógar has been moved. At the picture you can see where the old bus stop was and where the new one is.

Route 93 will run an extra trip on Wednesday in line with Smyril Line´s sailings.
The Wednesday trips will be from March 19th to May 28th.

Note that there will be no service these red days on routes in the Eastfjords 91, 92, 93 and 96. (Please note that routes 91 and 93 will operate as usual on Saturday, April 19).
Route 94 will drive according to Thursday schedule Maundy Thursday and Monday schedule Easter Monday but there will be no service on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
