Students ate the country side are entitled to Student cards with discount. In order to receive the discount, students must follow the following steps:

School web access

1. Log in to your school’s web access.

  • Inna for high schools.
  • Ugla at the University of Iceland, Bifröst, University of Akureyri, University of Hólar and the Agricultural University of Iceland.
  • Canvas at Reykjavík University.
  • Schools that are not using Ugla, Canvas or Inna have to contact their school’s service desk.

2. Choose „Settings“.

  • „My data“ on Canvas at Reykjavík University.

3. Give permission.

  • Give Strætó a permit to get confirmation of your studies.

4. Go to Students cards at Strætó´s page –  Student cards – Strætó (straeto.is)

5. Verify with your E-certificate.

 

6. Choose „Add to cart“ to purchase the card.

  • Choose which part of the country you will travel within.

7. Now you just need to add debit- or credit card and pay.
